Guidelines to Create Subdomain - Addon Domain - Parked Domain

1. Subdomain:

     1.1 What is Subdomain?

Subdomains: Is the small domains existing in the main domain, and use a different storage folder directory with the main domain.

For example, we have lab.vinahost.vn

Main domain is vinahost.vn

Subdomain is lab.vinahost.vn

When accessing the Subdomain browser Vinahost will get a page's content subdomain.

    1.2 How to configure Subdomain:

How to configure the Subdomain with cPanel:

- Login to cPanel through accounts in the customer center (https://secure.vinahost.vn/ac/index.php) -> Control Panel -> Package hosting

- To create Subdomain click on the Manage Domain -> Domain children (Subdomain)

- To create Subdomains and directories containing the source for the newly created Subdomain -> Click Create

- lab.vinahost.vn is the Subdomain Example Photo for the domain created for the main domain vinahost.vn

So we have created the domain's subdomains lab.vinahost.vn for the main domain vinahost.vn

2. Addon Domain:

    2.1 What is Addon Domain?

Addon Domain allows multiple sites to run on many different domains on the same individual hosting account.

Addon Domain is a new domain which will lie with the main domain, while other storage directory is with the main domain.

For example, currently have a domain hosting account vinahost.vn, we can create new domains adding 1 addon like lab.vn to have another storage directory with the main domain vinahost.vn

When we access the Addon Domain, the address will appear with the Addon Domain page content that we create.

 

    2.2 How to configure Addon domains:

How to configure with cPanel Addon Domain:

- Login to cPanel through accounts in the customer center (https://secure.vinahost.vn/ac/index.php) -> Control Panel -> Package hosting

- To create a directory click Addon Domain -> Domain Management -> Other domains (addon domains)

- Start making a Addon Domain and an addon folder containing the source for the newly created domain, and then click Create.

- Example Photo creating Addon Domains for domain lab.vn and for the main domain vinahost.vn

So we have created the lab.vn Addon Domains with domain hosting account vinahost.vn top 1

 

3. Parked Domain:

    3.1 Parked Domain is what?

Parked domains allow us to run a website on many different domains. Parked domain is a domain other than the primary domain, but has the same directory structure with the main domain.

For example, we have the main domain vinahost.vn, with this we can create a parked domain name lab.com.

When we visited the address or lab.com, vinahost.vn will then get the same content on both the domain 2

   3.2 How to configure Parked Domain:

Parked Domain directions with cPanel configuration:

- Login to cPanel accounts through customer center (https://secure.vinahost.vn/ac/index.php) -> Control Panel -> Package hosting

- To create a directory, click Addon Domain -> Domain Management -> Subdomain (parked domain name).

- Start making parked domain name -> Create
